Perkins Art Center

When it was time for The Perkins Center For The Arts facility in Moorestown to undergo an exterior face lift, they relied on the citizens of Moorestown to help raise funds necessary for  the carpentry and painting needs that the old girl needed. Extensive research was done layer by layer to see what were the original colors. The project was entrusted to the skills and expertise of Cherry Hill Painting, a task we were honored to be a part of. Here is what the center had to say about the experience:

On behalf of Perkins Center for the Arts we want to thank Cherry Hill Painting for your exceptional work on the exterior painting of Perkins Center for the Arts’ buildings in Moorestown and for your generous donation of $2500 in May 2012, in support of the Paint Perkins Campaign.
The exterior painting project required a number of specific considerations:
The facilitation of the extensive project while allowing the Center to maintain its daily business operations;

  • Adhering to lead paint removal and handling laws
  • Keeping the employees and customers safe at all times;
  • Adhering to the paint color and application recommendations made in the historic paint analysis;
  • Completing the project within a tight deadline and budget without diminishing the quality of work;

We thank Cherry Hill Painting for their professionalism and respect for the history of our buildings while also understanding and supporting the community resource that the Center is in South Jersey
