Imagining a home full of loud noises, harsh smells and tripping hazards everywhere, some people think they might need to move out when they receive interior house painting. In reality, however, it is almost always possible to continue living in your home throughout the duration of your painting project.
At Cherry Hill Painting, we are careful to provide our clients with the least disruptive experience possible while giving them the interior painting results they dream of! During the planning stage, we work hard to understand the needs and schedules of your family, so that we can work efficiently and effectively, without unnecessary inconvenience to you.
When it comes to loud noises, our craftsmen are thoughtful and considerate. Sometimes the interior painting project requires hammering, or the use of air compressors, but we are careful not to make any more noise than the job necessitates.
As for chemical smells, we typically use latex-acrylic interior paints, which have little odor and are not harmful. If you desire, however, we can switch to zero-VOC paints, which are virtually odorless, and emit no unhealthy fumes.
Finally, Cherry Hill Painting is committed to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. This protects our workers and our clients, so you don’t need to worry about living in a hazardous home!
Staging an Interior House Painting Project
With extensive experience in painting home interiors around New Jersey and Philadelphia, our project leaders are skilled in making a plan that will minimize inconvenience to your family. By focusing our work on one area of the house at a time, we can keep the house in a livable condition throughout the project.
A typical room can generally be prepped and painted in a day, unless there is wallpaper to remove or extensive damage to repair. This means that no area of your home needs to be off-limits for too long, and you can continue using the rest of the home as one area is painted. Also, we can often finish a room in one typical work day, so that by the time you need a room again at the end of the day, it is already done!
Kitchens can take longer to paint, especially if you want kitchen cabinet painting or refinishing. This process requires removing all the cabinet doors and drawers, plus extensive protective work with tape and plastic sheeting. Your kitchen may be unusable for a few days, but this shouldn’t mean you need to move out. Just ask us about this during the planning phase, and we will do our best to keep your family life as normal as possible.
