Your building’s exterior faces a lot of wear and tear no matter where you’re located, but here on the northern half of the East Coast there seem to be no shortage of factors fighting against the integrity of your siding and paint. Especially during the winter when there is salt, snow, and trapped moisture to deal with, your facility needs all the assistance it can get.
Painting and Protecting
We recently finished an exterior painting job in Cinnaminson, NJ, that included both paint and rust treatment for a two-story steel structure. The goal with a commercial painting project like this is to clean, coat, and leave the surface fortified and protected for what the seasons throw at it.
We began with surface preparation, including power washing. This is a terrific way to give the siding a fresh start, removing contaminants that would both work against the steel and get in the way of the new paint.
Next, we applied two coats of Direct to Metal paint; a coating that is specifically developed to cover and protect steel. The colors were chosen to match the company’s corporate logo, and they work really well together for this building! The result is very crisp, professional and, best of all, it reflects the business’ image as a whole.
What do you think of how it turned out?
